I am a qualified Mindfulness and Yoga Teacher and Stress Management Consultant. Drawing upon years of experience as a Public Health Nurse in Ireland and the USA and as a Yoga instructor with international training, I have designed and delivered group and individual Mindfulness 

and Stress Management programmes for Business, Community and the Voluntary Sector, including third-level education.

I received a Bachelor of Science Degree (Honours) in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts, Boston then worked as a nurse for many years in the city.


I trained as a Mindfulness Teacher at the Centre for Mindfulness, Bangor, Maine, and undertook further training at the Centre for Mindfulness, University of Massachusetts Medical School, Boston.


I trained in London as a Mindfulness in Schools Teacher and so ​I can deliver an 8-week Mindfulness course to children (click here for more information). 


In October 2013, I was a special observer at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, observing the implementation of alternative therapies such as yoga, meditation, music therapy, nutrition, botanicals, acupuncture and counselling alongside cancer treatments. I also attended the School of Public Health at Columbia University, New York with Dr Mark Rosenthal and observed the use of Mindfulness as a tool in the Family Wellness Clinic outpatients department.

I offer Mindfulness courses, workshops and work-based programmes tailored to suit the needs of you and your company or organisation. All my workshops, sessions or seminars are available either on a one-to-one basis, in small groups in my studio in South Belfast or with larger groups of colleagues in your place of work. I will happily accommodate clients who would prefer to work in the privacy of their own home.


In addition to Mindfulness, I teach Yoga and Wellness programmes in my studio and in the workplace. My passion is teaching people about health and well-being and showing them how Mindfulness and Yoga can alleviate depression, stress and anxiety, especially in the workplace.


As a Mindfulness Teacher, I adhere to the UK Network for Mindfulness-Based Teachers “Good Practise Guidelines for teaching Mindfulness-based courses” and receive supervision of my Mindfulness group work in accordance with the Good Practise Guidelines.


I am married with four sons and I enjoy outdoor activities especially coaching sports to young children.
